This guide provides an overview of EndNote bibliographic management software.

Exporting from Scopus

1. Run your search in Scopus

2. Select the references you want to export by clicking the boxes on the left side of the screen. If you want to export an entire page of results or the entire results list, click All and then Select all or Select this page

3. Next, click Export at the top of your results. Under File types, click RIS

4. The Export documents to RIS dialog box will open. Select any information you would like included in your citation download. We recommend selecting all options under Citation InformationBibliographical information, and Abstract & keywords

5. Click Export

6. Your download will automatically begin. When the download is complete, click on the file to open it. This will import your citation into EndNote, and your references will be temporarily stored in the Imported References folder. If you have set up smart groups, they will be automatically distributed into relevant groups. If not, you can manually distribute them to the appropriate group(s).
