Exporting from Google Scholar

To export references from Google Scholar to EndNote, configure the Google Scholar Settings first. This will make the "Import into EndNote" option available in Google Scholar search results.

 

Follow these steps to configure Google Scholar settings:

2. Click on the 3 line menu on the top left
3. Click Settings

4. Under Bibliography Manager, click next to Show links to export into and select EndNote from the drop-down box.
5. Click Save

To export citations from Google Scholar:

1. Run your search 
2. Click on the Import to Endnote link under the citation

3. Your download will automatically begin. When the download is complete, click on the file to open it. This will import your citation into EndNote, and your references will be temporarily stored in the Imported References folder. If you have set up smart groups, they will be automatically distributed into relevant groups. If not, you can manually distribute them to the appropriate group(s).
