This guide provides an overview of EndNote bibliographic management software.

Embase

Exporting from Embase

1. Run your search in Embase 

2. Select the references you want to export by clicking the boxes on the left side of the screen. Select Export

3. The Export record(s) dialog box will open. Select the RIS format (Mendeley, Endnote). Click Export

4. A new window or tab will open on your browser showing the progress of the download. When you see the Ready for Download box, click Download

5. When the download is complete, click on the file to open it. This will import your citation into EndNote, and your references will be temporarily stored in the Imported References folder. If you have set up smart groups, they will be automatically distributed into relevant groups. If not, you can manually distribute them to the appropriate group(s).
