Section 3.4 of the AMA 11 describes the following "Minimum Acceptable Data for References" for books: 

  • Book Title
  • Edition number (if second or later)
  • Publisher’s name
  • Copyright year
  • Accessed [date]
  • URL (or DOI, if provided)
