Where can I find audio and video?

Full transcripts and closed captioning are available for all videos in Bates' and Acland's. 

  • Download a transcript by selecting the option in the top right corner of a video window 
  • Turn on closed captioning and control playback speed in the lower toolbar

Adding Figures and Photos to PowerPoint

Want to use an image from a text in your lecture slides or class notes? Easily import full images into Microsoft PowerPoint straight from LWW Health Library.

  1. Find the figure you want to include, either in the textbook chapter or in the "Images" tab on the book's Table of Contents.
  2. Select the "Download Slide (.ppt)" option below the figure.

  3. LWW Health Library generates a complete slide with source and copyright acknowledgements. Add the premade slide to your deck, or select the image in the center to copy it to other slides. Be sure to cite any image you use!
