Use DUQSearch to search for materials. DUQSearch is located on the main page of the library's website, and at the top of most library webpages.
When you select search, you will be prompted to login with your Multipass credentials, then authenticate using Duo.
Once logged in, you will be presented with the results of your search. In most cases the number of results will be very large because it defaults to searching for print AND online items. For instance, in the example below there are over 2,500 results.
To lower the number of results, refine your results on the left-hand side of the page. Select Show More under the Limit To section of the page. Once you have refined your options, select Search. You will notice that the number of results is reduced. Search the results until you find what you are looking for.
Select Place Request when you are ready to request the item.
Once you select Place Request, you will be directed to indicate the first available copy or a specific copy (volume). You will also need to indicate which location on campus you are retrieving the item (Note: Gumberg Library materials cannot be picked up at the Duquesne Center for Legal Information Front Desk and vice versa).
Library staff will pull your items and have them ready for you to pick up within 3 business days. You will receive an email when your materials are ready for pick up or delivery.
