ILLiad is a free service used to search and request articles, book chapters, music scores, media, dissertations, and more from libraries not only in the Pennsylvania region, but from around the world. We advise our students and staff to use this system when Gumberg Library and EZBorrow do not have the item they are searching for.

Download WITHIN 30 DAYS of DELIVERY electronically received articles and book chapters 
ILLiad physical items check out for a minimum of 8 weeks. No renewals granted.

Holiday Timeline for Resource Sharing 

Important Dates for Borrowing from Other Libraries:

ILLiad and EZBorrow

 Visit the Gumberg Library calendar for a full view of our hours in December and January.

Monday, December 8, 2025:

  • Submit ILLiad and EZBorrow PHYSICAL ITEM requests (books, scores, DVDs, etc.) to increase likelihood of physical delivery to Gumberg Library prior to holiday closures

Wednesday, December 17, 2025:

  • Submit ILL non-returnable request (articles, book chapters, etc.) to increase likelihood of electronic delivery of materials to your inbox prior to holiday closures

Tuesday, December 23, 2025: 

  • LAST DAY to pick up physical materials at Gumberg Library
  • Campus closes for break at 2pm

Monday, January 5, 2026:

  • Gumberg Library's normal processes resume
