1. A Patron comes to desk to return equipment they requested/reserved/ booked. Navigate to LibApps. Then, from the drop down menu, select "LibCal."
2. Navigate to the "Equipment" Icon and select it.
3. Click on Check In tab (notice the green circle with number of check ins)

5. Check in items in Sierra (usual process) and give to patron.
This step can be done upon return and check in if desk is slow. During busy times, set returned cameras aside on designated truck for inventory.
After camera kits/bundles are checked in, inventory the items using enclosed paper forms, or if paper form is missing, retrieve one from folder (add location)
Check that items returned in cases match with either existing inventory forms or new inventory form. If items are missing or damaged, let Jean and Zane know.
Zane contacts the patron, Jean alerts Media staff and camera is pulled and item status changed to “in repair” until the missing/damaged pieces are resolved.
Once a patron reserves a piece of equipment, staff can modify the booking if need be. If a patron requests their booking time be modified, remember to use this option only as a courtesy.
