This guide will help you get started using ClinicalKey Student

Persistent Linking

To share resources from ClinicalKey Student, it is not sufficient to simply copy and paste the URLs from your browser. Use the steps below to ensure other Duquesne users can access the resource you are sharing.

Find a resource you want to link to on ClinicalKey Student.

Important:

  • If the link contains hyphens, change them to periods.
  • If it includes the string "authenticate.library.duq.edu/" remove it.

Navigate to the Open Athens Link Generator and make certain you are using the Duquesne University site:

Paste the full URL into the box and then Copy the OpenAthens Link:

 

Paste link into Canvas or wherever you would like to use it.
