ClinicalKey Student

This guide will help you get started using ClinicalKey Student

NOTE: To use ClinicalKey Student through Duquesne University or use the mobile app, you must create an Elsevier Account.

Creating An Account

To access ClinicalKey Student, you need an Elsevier account. If you have already created an account for one of Elsevier's other databases (Scopus, ScienceDirect, Embase, or ClinicalKey) you do not need to make a new account.

  • Go to ClinicalKey Student
  • Select "Register Here":

  • Fill out the form with the required information using your Duquesne email address:

  • Customize your account by selecting whether you are a student or a professional and specifying your level of education
  • Once you have an account, you can now use ClinicalKey Student to save content for later, build your own tests, and more

ClinicalKey Student Bookshelf Mobile App

The ClinicalKey Student mobile app only includes the personal bookshelf that users have curated with saved content from the full ClinicalKey Student site they would like to review later. You cannot search for and add new content to your bookshelf from within the app. You must have an account to use mobile app, and the app is available for download from the Google Play store and the App Store.

  • Search and download the free ClinicalKey app from your device's app store
  • Open the app and sign into your Elsevier account:
