Changing Due Dates

On occasion you may need to alter a due date in order to accommodate a special request. It's important to note that when you change a due date, this counts as a renewal. This may impact people's ability to renew items at a future date.

Changing a due date: Start by selecting the Check Out function. Under the user's Checked-Out Items, select the item you wish to change. Above the due dates you will see a button marked Change Due Dates.


Click Change Due Date. The system will prompt you for login credentials

Put in your login information and click Ok. A calendar will appear.

From the calendar select the appropriate date and click Ok. Sierra will confirm the change.

The altered due date and renewal status will show in the item information. Again, this counts as a renewal so only modify due dates when the situation calls for it.
