Persistent Links

A guide on how to create accessible and direct links to Gumberg Library resources.

Note for Using Ovid

When you first enter Ovid, be sure to select the database(s) that you want to search.

Ovid Articles

When you find the article you want to read, look at the box to the right of its name. Click the "Ovid Full Text" link.

Look for the box labeled "Tools" on the right. Click "Email Jumpstart."

Screenshot of the Tools pane with the Email Jumpstart link circled in red.

A window will pop up providing you the JumpStart URL, which is your persistent link.

Ovid eBooks

When you find the eBook you want to read, click "New Book Reader."

Look for the three-circle "Share" icon on the left side of the page. Once you click the icon, a window will appear with a persistent link to the book. Clip "Copy Link to book" to copy the link.
