Finding Full Text Through PEDro

PEDro does not provide the full text for an article. They provide links to some sources where you might find the full text.  

LibKey Nomad 

A browser extension that helps you find PDFs of resources that are within Duquesne's holdings. It is available free of cost to currently registered Duquesne students, faculty, and staff. To learn more and install this extension view our guide here. When installed, it can assist in finding the full text with the options PEDro offers. 

Check for Full Text Availability Through PEDro

Click the hyperlink of the article you are interested in reviewing with your results return. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the possible site.

PEDro Potential Links to Full Text: 
  • PubMed Central 
    • A free full text archive of biomedical journal literature. You may be able to view the full text article on PubMed Central itself or open the article in PDF by clicking on a link.

  • DOI
    • A Digital Object Identifier (DOI) provides a persistent link to an article or text on the internet. Click on the “DOI” link to take you directly to the article on the journal’s website. 

  • PubMed
    • For more information on utilizing PubMed for full text please view our guidance here

  • Publisher
    • Not all journals will allow you to access full text free of charge. If you have LibKey Nomad installed it may offer you a PDF through Duquesne's holdings.

  • PDF Locator 
    • This option does not work.
