Creating Your Bookshelf

Personalizing your digital library allows you to remain up-to-date on your favorite journals, having access to the latest studies and information in a given field. 

How to add a publication to your Bookshelf:
  • Log into your BrowZine account
  • Find the publication you wish to save
  • With the journal selected, select Add to my bookshelf
For quick access to your publications: 
  • Sign into your BrowZine account 
  • click the tab "My Bookshelf" at the top of your web browser 
    • This will be the location for all of your saved journals 
Personalizing your bookshelves: 
  • Once you have publications saved to your bookshelves, you can organize the look of your "bookshelves" by rearranging the journals locations 
  • Select the tab on the publication you would like to move
  • Select the shelf you want to move the publication to 
On your mobile device: 
  • Log into your BrowZine account on your BrowZine app
  • Find the publication you wish to save
  • Select the icon in the top right corner 

You are also able to rearrange your saved journals on your mobile device!

How save to your Articles

When you're looking at a journal, there is an option to save specific articles within that publication. 

  • Log into your BrowZine account
  • Find the publication issue you wish to save
  • The selected journal will show the articles within an issue of the journal 
  • Underneath the title of the article you wish to save is a file icon 
    • clicking the file is to "Save to My Articles
  • You are given the option of where to save your article by curating collections
    • This will be helpful when collecting articles on a specific topic or by a specific author

Underneath a search result, a file folder icon appears. Hovering over the icon shows the text "save to my articles".

On your mobile device: 
  • Log into your BrowZine account on your BrowZine app
  • Find the publication issue you wish to save
  • Select the file icon next to that issue 
  • from here you can save and share the article

Downloading Available Full Text

BrowZine allows you to download full text articles as PDF files. 

  • Please note that Gumberg Library must have the journal to be able to download it 
How to Download
  • Select the article you wish to download
  • Select the Icon with the Adobe logo listed as "Download PDF
    • This will save that one article to your device 
  • Repeat as necessary and save multiple articles! 

Your PDF will show as a download in your internet browser and should automatically open. If not, click on the icon in the download bar. 

Print a physical copy of your saved article

Once you have the PDF saved to your device, print the article by selecting the printer icon in the top right corner.
