A guide to accessing full text of published articles in Gumberg's collections, online, or with Interlibrary Loan

LibKey Nomad

LibKey Nomad makes your search process easier by automatically scanning webpages for full text accessible via Gumberg Library.

Access full text to a known article

If you have LibKey Nomad installed on your browser, search the Internet for the article. 

When you open the page, LibKey Nomad will check to see if the article is available through the library.

Selecting Download PDF will open a new window where LibKey has generated a PDF for that article. 

Searching within databases and sites

Using the LibKey Nomad browser extension allow you to search any site on the web for full text. Below are some examples of how links may appear in different websites. 

 

LibKey PDF in databases

In sites like DUQSearchScopus and PubMed, a LibKey button to download a PDF may appear under search results where LibKey has found full text.

LibKey Nomad on Wikipedia

Looking for resources in the References section of a Wikipedia page? LibKey Nomad will automatically search for full text and provide links to articles available through Gumberg.

If a LibKey Nomad button appears in the bottom left corner when you open a Wikipedia page, click on the button to navigate to the linked resource in the references. Click on the button underneath the resource citation to download a full text PDF.

 

Beneath a reference citation in a Wikipedia article, a green Libkey icon appears with a Download PDF prompt. In the bottom left corner a similar button reads "Provided by Gumberg Library Duquesne University".
