Streaming Videos

This guide will show you how to search for streaming videos and how to access them, and use them in your online class.

Streaming Videos

Streaming videos at Duquesne can be accessed in two ways:

You will need to log in with your Multipass credentials to access most of these resources.

Find Streaming Videos with DUQSearch

1. From the Gumberg Library page, type your search into the DUQSearch box (Author, Title, Subject, or Keyword):

DUQSearch will display results including print books, eBooks, journals, DVDs, CDs, etc. based on your search criteria.

2.  To narrow your search to Videos, go to All filters below the search bar, and look for Source Types near the bottom of the menu. Check the Videos box to filter the search results.

If you don't see Videos, expand the list to see all available formats:

3. Select Videos from the list, click Update selections, and click Apply. (Hint: If you do not see Videos listed, it means there are no videos for that search.)

4. Results will be for both Videos (streaming) and DVDs (in the physical collection):

Find Streaming Videos through Research Databases

Sites can be found on the Databases A-Z page under the first letter of their name, e.g., Kanopy:
