Metrics Toolkit provides a great deal of additional information on metrics and how you can use them.

MLA International Bibliography includes detailed information about journals including the numbers of papers submitted and published per year as well as the types of papers published.

Ulrich's Periodicals Directory includes self-reported information about journals such as where the journal is indexed, peer review status, and subscription information.

Book Citations Count This article describes a method for finding citations to books using Google Scholar and Google Books. Although written in 2013, this process is still largely the same. Also available in ProQuest.
