All due dates for borrowed materials have been extended to August 15th and all overdue fines have been waived.

Campus shutdown

All electronic resources, including eBooks, online magazines, newspapers, and journals, databases, and streaming audio and video, are available to Duquesne students, faculty, and staff.

  • ​All you need to access these resources is an internet connection and your MultiPass username and password.
  • Unfortunately, we are not able to provide access to any of our tangible and print collections at this time.

Can a Librarian visit class?

Librarians can provide instruction sessions through Zoom. Please visit our Ask Gumberg page to arrange library instruction. 

Online events and workshops

Although all library hosted events for the spring and summer have been canceled or postponed, librarians are working to reschedule some events online.

Is it possible to place something on hold?

Items, such as online journal articles, ebook chapters, and entire ebooks, can be placed on e-reservePrint reserves are not available at this time. Place a request through

Can I submit a request to borrow from ILLiad?

We will work to fulfill as many requests electronically as we can. Make your requests through ILLiad. Print Interlibrary Loan and E-ZBorrow services are suspended due to partner institutions’ short-staffing and closures.
