Gumberg Library proudly serves Duquesne University students, staff, and faculty to help reach scholarly and creative achievement. This guide is designed to provide you with the tools online students need to navigate the numerous library and departmental resources available to you as a student at Duquesne University!

Distance Learners 

Shipping Materials to You

• Once you receive a "Ready for Pick-Up" notice to your Duquesne email:
  • Email ask@duq.libanswers.com to request residential shipping and confirm the address you want the items mailed to
  • Materials cannot be mailed to PO Boxes.
• There is a limit of one (1) residential package from Gumberg per month.
  • Additional shipping is handled on a case-by-case basis at the library's discretion.
• You can borrow books from the Gumberg Library collection as well as from our lending partner programs, EZBorrow and Interlibrary Loan.
• We encourage you to review our Scan and Deliver service as well as search our robust E-Book collections for electronic access to articles, chapters, and books. If you would like expert assistance in finding the very best resources for your research, please contact your liaison librarian.

For FedEx returns

• Please complete the Return E-Label Request Form with the number of books you are returning, and we will email you a return e-label to your @duq.edu inbox.
• We will send one (1) e-label per week at your request. Packages can be dropped at any FedEx drop-box location near you.
• Packages must not exceed 25 pounds
