EQ125-01: Can Religion Heal Us? (Dr. Smith)

A Gumberg Library Course Guide

Learn the Basics

Reference works, like encyclopedias and dictionaries, are great places to go to learn the basic facts regarding a topic. They give knowledge you need to have to ask intelligent questions as you do research and to understand the information on topics that you find. The articles from reference works have a tendency to break a larger topic into smaller sub-topics and so might help you to narrow a research topic that is initially too broad.
