Gumberg Library ships items to patron's homes upon request. When patrons need to send their borrowed items back to us, they can request a shipping label be sent to them. They can request a physical label or an electronic label.
1. While on the SERVICE tab, ENTER the following information:

Reference Number 1: item barcode(s)
Enter as many reference numbers as you have books or as can fit (2 per line, usually)
Click Reference tab for up to 5 Reference text boxes)
Package: Estimated weight of items
Round up if using scale
Estimate 1 lb. per book, if no scale
Do NOT exceed 30 lbs. per package
We’re charged by package NOT weight, but still enter your best guess
2. VERIFY the following options are selected:
UPS Service: Ground
Bill Transportation To: Shipper
Shipper: 185993

Next, to the right of the "Service" tab, select the "Options" tab.

Once all of the required fields have been completed, select "Process Shipment." \
SAMPLE E-LABEL EMAILS:
UPS Label Created. Patrons receive this email when a label has been created for them. The label will become available to them once the "End of Day" report is ran.
UPS Label Delivery: Patrons receive this email when the "End of Day" report is ran. This email means the shipping label is available to them, and they may now download it and use it to mail their items back to Duquesne University.
