Requesting a Ballot

• You must include a copy of your photo ID with your application
• Excuse needed:  Living outside of your parish to attend higher ed is one acceptable, but need to enclose a picture of your student ID or fee bill if it is your first time voting
• Forms:  Online: https://voterportal.sos.la.gov

Voting

• Ballot must be RECEIVED on the day BEFORE the  election - if you want to deliver by hand, please contact your County Registrar for information: https://voterportal.sos.la.gov/registrar
• Witness signature required

• Please pay attention to the postage required.- it may be more than a single stamp
