Join us for a Brown Bag Lunch on Tuesday, February 21st from 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm on the 5th Floor of the Gumberg Library as Sue Neff from the Origami Club of Pittsburgh will demonstrate how to fold the traditional peace crane using the origami. Help us in our mission to create 1,000 peace cranes in recognition of our DUQ Reads programming!
Here's how you can participate in this event:
- Make it a date and bring some friends so you can all learn the art of Japanese paper folding, otherwise known as origami.
- Bring your lunch to the 5th Floor of the library and enjoy it over a demonstration on folding origami peace cranes.
- Cookies and drink will be provided!
- Spread the word using the #DUQREADS hashtag on your Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram!
