What is Zoom?

Zoom is a web-conferencing system that allows Duquesne faculty and staff to collaborate online with colleagues and students. You can connect through your laptop, desktop, or mobile device (apps available at App Store or Google Play).

Getting Started 

To sign up for Zoom, click here.

  • Click sign in. You will be prompted to enter your MultiPass credentials.
  • Once you have logged in, your account will be activated.
  • In the top right corner, you have the option to schedule, join, or host a meeting.

Simplifying Participant Access

Create an easy-to-remember ID:

  • Access your profile page from the dashboard
  • Find Personal Meeting ID and click Edit
  • Enter a number such as your campus phone number

Make an easy-to-remember URL:

  • Access your profile page from the dashboard
  • Find Personal Link and click Customize
  • Enter a word such as your last name or MultiPass username
