What is Zoom?
Zoom is a web-conferencing system that allows Duquesne University students to use virtual distance meetings, digital office hours, video calls, and remote interviews. You can connect through a laptop, desktop, Apple App Store, and Google Play.
Attending a Meeting
If you have already scheduled a meeting with a librarian, advisor, or peer, you should be provided with a Join URL by the invitee.
The URL will looking something like this: https://duq.zoom.us/m/1234567891.
Once you click this link, Zoom will prompt you to start the meeting or download the application.
Hosting a Meeting
To sign up and virtually meet with other students using zoom, click here.
- Click sign in. You will be prompted to enter your MultiPass credentials.
- Once you have logged in, your account will be activated.
- In the top right corner, you have the option to schedule, join, or host a meeting.
