The Gumberg Library offers a collection of over 393,473 printed volumes, with particular strengths in the Humanities, including English, American, and other literatures. We are also very strong in Philosophy and Theology.

We offer access to a over 878,700 ebooks on all subjects.

You can also access hundreds of print and electronic reference works.

We connect you to the contents of over 148,800 electronic journals. We still receive 123 journals in print.

We access 83,897 streaming videos.

We provide access to over 313 different databases, containing many types of information sources, with over 43 for use in literary studies. These include the major databases for scholarly secondary works on literary topics, particularly the MLA International Bibliography, as well as numerous databases of literary primary sources, and more.

We offer over 500 research guides created by subject specialists to point users to the very best resources on specific topics.
