
Carolyn received her MLIS from the University of Pittsburgh. Previously, she received her master's in occupational therapy also from University of Pittsburgh and worked in the field for several years primarily in skilled nursing. She did her undergraduate work at Moravian College, where she received a bachelor's degree in environmental policy and economics.
In her personal research, Carolyn is interested in curriculum design and the scaffolding of library instruction within the health sciences and retains an interest in occupational therapy research and the wider impact of health sciences professionals in medical care. She also holds an interest in opportunities for student research.
She serves as the library liaison to the Rangos School of Health Sciences.
