This research guide will connect researchers to many types of information sources by and about queer writers and poets. Queer, meaning "relating to a sexual or gender identity that does not correspond to established ideas of sexuality and gender, especially heterosexual norms" (Oxford Dictionaries), is an umbrella term for a wide variety of people who do not identity with cis heterosexual norms and roles.
