WRITING CENTER

The Writing Center helps students learn how to write papers in APA Style. Students can write using structured templates and are able to select from nine options including: empirical, multiexperiment, literature review, theoretical, case study, methodological, meta-analysis, and reaction papers.

Explanations of each part of a paper are built-in and are accessed by clicking the question mark button on the top right-hand side of the page. Students may use the Collaborate feature to allow other students or educators to work on or edit a paper.

An account is needed to use the Writing Center.

Note: A professor may want her students to use the Writing Center rather than Cite While You Write in Endnote if her students are beginning to learn and are unfamiliar with the mechanics of APA Style. For that matter, any novice learning APA Style for the first time could benefit from using the structure and templates within the Writing Center
