♦ In this workshop we will explore the characteristics of Creative Nonfiction and discuss how Hope Jahren’s prose exemplifies memoir.
♦ Additionally, we will interrogate how relationship of place informs voice and narrative through a brief creative writing exercise.
Caitlyn Hunter is a current doctoral student in the English Department at Duquesne University. She holds a MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Chatham University. She has additionally been an Editorial Assistant for Creative Nonfiction Magazine. She currently lives in Pittsburgh PA.
