The Pittsburgh South Writers Group began with two strangers at Bethel Park Library. After chatting about writing and editing, the two strangers concluded a need and expressed interest in a writers group south of Pittsburgh. Brainstorming took place over coffee as the concept and importance of the project began to form. The Group intends to hold meaningful and inspiring discussions on the topic of writing and publishing while concluding each monthly meeting with a group critique of submitted work. At the heart of the Pittsburgh South Writers Group are two passionate writers with intentions to help inspire and critique fellow Pittsburgh writers.
