- Juneteenth (June 19th) has been recently declared a state holiday by Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolfe; however, African Americans (especially in Texas, who were directly affected by learning that the Civil War ended slavery two and a half years prior to Texan slaves actually becoming free) have been celebrating this holiday for almost 100 years.

- Stop AAPI Hate: Communities standing against racism and hate against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders use this web portal to report hate incidents and take action.

- Black Political Empowerment Project (B-PEP): Launched May 21, 1986 to ensure that the Pittsburgh African-American community votes in every single election.
- Greater Pittsburgh Coalition against Violence: The purpose and the role of the COALITION AGAINST VIOLENCE is to identify and facilitate the implementation of strategies and initiatives addressing the issues of violence and crime that plague many of the neighborhoods and communities throughout the City of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County.

- Three Rivers Community Foundation: Advancing social change through grantmaking, advocacy, and capacity development for grassroots and other organizations.
- Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh: Ranked in three successive performance reviews as one of the nation’s highest performing affiliates, the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh was founded in 1918 with the shared National Urban League mission of enabling African-Americans to secure economic self-reliance, parity and power, and civil rights.

- Asian Americans Advancing Justice: Protecting the civil and human rights of Asian Americans in Georgia and the Southeast.
- 1Hood Media: A collective of socially conscious artists and activists who utilize art to raise awareness.
- 18 Million Rising (18MR): bringing Asian American communities together online and offline to reimagine Asian American identity with nuance, specificity, and power using technology and popular culture.
- ACLU: The ACLU seeks to realize this promise of the United States Constitution for all and expand the reach of its guarantees.
- Appleseed: A network of independent public interest law centers that use pro bono help to develop practical and lasting solutions to chronic injustices in public education, health care, child welfare, justice, and immigration.
- Atlanta Solidarity Fund: A fund to support people in Atlanta who have been arrested for taking action against social injustice. Focused primarily on bailing out arrestees, with priority for those who have the most need.
- Black Girls Equity Alliance: Empowering girls and young women to have productive lives through holistic, gender-specific programs, education, and experiences.
- Black Lives Matter: Black Lives Matter Foundation, Inc is a global organization in the US, UK, and Canada, whose mission is to eradicate white supremacy and build local power to intervene in violence inflicted on Black communities by the state and vigilantes.
- Brennan Center for Justice: Uses scholarship, public education, and legal action to find innovative and practical solutions to intractable problems in the areas of democracy (voting), poverty, and criminal justice.
- Campaign Zero: Supporting research to identify effective solutions to end police violence and the development of legislation and advocacy to end police violence nationwide.
- Chicago Community Bond Fund: Pays bond for people charged with crimes in Cook County, Illinois.
- Color of Change: Color Of Change is the nation’s largest online racial justice organization. Helps people respond effectively to injustice in the world. As a national online force driven by 1.7 million members, they move decision-makers in corporations and government to create a more human and less hostile world for Black people in America.
- Critical Resistance: Seeks to build an international movement to end the Prison Industrial Complex by challenging the belief that caging and controlling people makes us safe.
- Derrick Bell Official Site: This site was created in honor of Professor Derrick Bell and in recognition of his unparalleled career as a civil rights attorney, legal scholar, professor and political activist. It was built to honor Professor Bell’s memory and his legacy.
- Equal Justice Initiative: Committed to ending mass incarceration and excessive punishment in the U.S., challenging racial and economic injustice, and protecting basic human rights for the most vulnerable people in American society
- Grassroots Leadership: Seeks to put an end to abuses of justice and the public trust by working to abolish for-profit private prisons.

- Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF): Works to foster sound public policies, laws, and programs to safeguard the civil rights of the 40 million Latinos living in the United States and to empower the Latino community to fully participate in our society.
