Advanced Search: Using Limiters

The Advanced Search option has many limiters available so that you can find what you need more quickly and efficiently.

  • Conduct a Boolean Search using keywords (e.g., ptsd, teenagers, young adults)
  • You can also select other fields to search on (e.g., AU Author, TI Title, SU Subject Terms, etc.)
  • Click on  to add a search field
  • Library Location - Selecting a Library Location will show results for resources where the item might be found. For example if you are searching for picture books you can limit to show materials found in the Curriculum Center, the library's collection of Pre-K-12 resources
