Due to TEACH Act restrictions, it's rarely acceptable to show an entire video in class:

The TEACH Act amendment to the Copyright Actcodified at § 110(2)permits the performance of a reasonable and limited portion of films in an online classroom.

 

Using Video Clips 

  • Many of our streaming video resources permit you to make clips for your class without infringing on a film's copyright.
  • You will find instructions on how to create clips on each site.
