The following research guide will connect you to a wide array of resources on Jewish life, thought, and culture.
If at any time during your research you need help, give me, Ted Bergfelt, creator of this page, a call or send me an email. I check my email frequently throughout the day and will get back to you as soon as I can. We can set up an appointment for an individual consultation, if necessary. If I am not available, you can click on the Ask-a-Librarian links to see how to connect with a reference librarian. One of these links can be found on the blue menu bar at the very top of the page, and one is in the box on the lower left side of the screen.
Below is a list of words highlighting possible themes drawn directly from your assignment. These can be used individually or in combination to search various databases for magazine and scholarly journal articles. But be aware that you should also think of synonyms for any of the search terms that you use from this list because you will probably need to do a number of searches using your chosen words and synonyms.
Survivor's guilt Family
The Journey/Quest Tradition
