Sylvia Plath: Mobile

A Gumberg Library Research Guide

Photo of Sylvia Plath by Rollie McKenna

Creating poems of exceptional power, Sylvia Plath (1932-1963) is one of the best known and most influential American poets of the 20th century. Adding to her mystique was her stormy marriage to Ted Hughes, who was later named Poet Laureate of England, and her suicide at the age of 31.

This research guide is designed to quickly connect Duquesne University researchers to materials available through the Gumberg Library and beyond on this important poet and writer.
