Fair Trade is an economic partnership based on dialogue, transparency, and respect. For Fair Trade Federation members, this system of exchange seeks to create greater equity and partnership in the international trading system.

EVENT: Fair Trade Fashion Show and Fair Food Reception

Tuesday, November 29

Power Center Ballroom

7 p.m.

 

Speaker- Rachel Taber, Alta Gracia Representative and two students from United Students Against Sweat Shops (USAS) will be sharing their thoughts on Fair Trade in the clothing industry.

 

Free Swag bags for the first 40 attendees.  Bags include a variety of Fair Trade merchandise!

 

Fair Food reception will follow the fashion show and will include LIVE COOKING DEMOS and recipes featuring Fair Trade ingredients.
