Creating Effective Tutorials

This guide is designed to provide guidelines for creating effective online tutorials.

How do you create an effective tutorial?

What do we mean when we say a tutorial is effective? We mean that it is engaging, encourages learning, considers the needs of the learners, and makes appropriate use of technology. The tabs on the side will provide some guidelines for creating tutorials that use research and design practices that increase learning by considering cognitive load and learning preferences.
