Amy Lee Heinlen, MLIS, MFA

Assistant University Librarian for Access Services

Amy Lee joined Gumberg Library in February 2017. She is the Assistant University Librarian for Access Services at Duquesne University’s Gumberg Library. She holds a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Chatham University. Amy Lee’s passion for librarianship and poetry happily come together in her approach to research as a creative act of discovery that cultivates authentic curiosity, an appreciation of specific language and systems, and belief in serendipity.
