This list is by no means inclusive, but it does highlight some of the more unique archival collections that CRRA has.  Click on the collection's name to take you to the Portal.

Archival Collections

Dorothy Day was an American journalist and social activist who believed in distributism.  She worked closely with activist Peter Maurin during the 1930's.  They established the Catholic Worker Movement, which is a pacifist movement the combines direct aid to the poor and homeless with nonviolent direct action on their behalf.  It is still used today.  She was the editor of Catholic Worker until her death in 1980.

Ade Bethune was a liturgical artist and was associated with the Catholic Worker Movement.  She was an advocate of traditional iconography and have reworked the masthead of the Catholic Worker.

John Gilmary Shea was a Catholic historian, editor, and writer.  He, also, specialized in native Americans in the United States.
