Citation Generators

The citation needs of many undergraduate students may be met using free citation generators, such as  EasyBib, BibMe, and NoodleTools Express.  These tools will generate your citations and format them into a bibliography.  Unlike the citation management software like RefWorks or EndNote, these generators do not maintain a "library" of all your resources.  Once you close the browser, your citations will be lost.

VERY IMPORTANT! If you choose to use a citation generator to create your bibliography, you should check and edit the generated bibliography to catch any possible errors.

These tools better meet the needs of undergraduate students.  They are not recommended for those conducting extensive research.
