Find full text articles with a citation through Gumberg's Citation Linker.
Click on E-Journals on the Library website and then click on A to Z List of Electronic Journals to get to the Citation Linker.
On the Find e-Journal page, click the Citation Linker tab.
Fill in the boxes (or as much information as you have for your citation) and then click the GO button.
FindIt! will list available databases for your article. Choose one and click GO.
Remember: If you are connecting from off-campus, you will be prompted to enter your MultiPass credentials or your student ID number before the article will open. If you are searching from on campus, the article will be opened automatically.
While unlikely, there is a chance that the article you are looking for will not be online. You can check to see if Gumberg has a physical copy of it in the classic catalog.
From the front page of the Gumberg Library website, click DuCat.
Now click Classic Catalog.
Type the title of the journal into the search box and click Search.
Click on the journal that best matches what you are looking for.
The record will tell you what years are in print and where the journal is located within Gumberg. Simply locate the desired volume in the stacks and read or copy the article within it.
In rare cases, the desired article will neither be online nor at Gumberg. Use ILLiad to request an article from another library free of charge.
From any Gumberg Library page, click ILLiad. If you do not already have an ILLiad account, click on New Users and fill out the requested information. Otherwise, login with username and password.
From the Main Menu of ILLiad under New Request, click Journal Article.
Fill in as much information as you can in the Journal Article Request form and click Submit Request.
After 1-2 business days, you will receive an email stating that your article is available. To access the article, logon to ILLiad and, from the Main Menu, under View, click Electronically Received Articles.
On this page, you will see your articles listed as a PDF. Feel free to download and print it, but it will disappear from ILLiad after 30 days.
